What is a clinical trial?

A clinical trial is a voluntary research study conducted in people that is designed to answer questions about the safety and effectiveness of novel therapies.

Who can participate in clinical trials?

All clinical trials have very specific guidelines on who can participate. Additionally, all participation is completely voluntary. If you are interested in one of our trials, our study staff will thoroughly evaluate your eligibility based on the study specific inclusion and exclusion criteria.

How much will it cost?

The sponsor of the research generally covers study-related expenses or greatly discounts them. Additionally, you may receive a stipend for your participation. Your study coordinator will go over any costs you may incur and any reimbursements you may receive.
